This hood is a Ram Air functional when used with the optional air box(currently not available for some models!).
This new Ford F-150 G-Force Power Hood is fully ram air functional when used with the optional 4.6L/5.4L Gas Engine Air Box. It is constructed from hand laid fiberglass and high quality "ISO" resin and comes in a white gelcoat ready to be prepped, primed and painted. Also included are two black metal mesh vent grilles and two silver "ram air" decals.
All hinge and latch mountings are reinforced with steel plates. All bolt holes are pre-drilled and tapped for easy installation. To install these hoods, all you need to do is transfer your stock hardware onto it and bolt it on to the factory hinges for final alignment.
Optional Stainless Steel billet-style vent grille inserts are available like seen in the picture (for some models). Each hood comes with a One Year Warranty.
