Return Information


We understand that mistakes happen sometimes and that is why we allow our customers to return any item purchased from us within 14 days. Electronic items are non returnable. Shop with confidence and feel comfortable in knowing that if you are not happy with your purchase that we will refund you the product price as long as you follow the guidelines below.

1. Customer must pay the shipping charge to ship the item back to DicksAutoParts.com. We ask that the customer pay the shipping fees to return the item. We can not pay to have the item shipped back to us.

2. The customer must return the item in the original packaging, unused condition. We cannot accept any returned item that is not in its original packaging, or any item that has been installed. These are policies set forth by the product manufacturers, therefore we cannot accept any returned goods that don't abide by this policy.

3. The customer must provide shipping insurance for the full amount of the products cost or value. This ensures that the item will hopefully not get damaged in shipping and if does then we both can get reimbursed.

4. Customers Must Obtain an RGA number from DicksAutoParts.com before returning any item. We cannot accept any item for return without an RGA number. If an item is returned without a RGA number credit cannot be given. Please let us know why you are returning the item. If there is a mistake on our part we will do whatever it takes to make it right.


You must contact us to return an item by phone 1-800-248-3425 or by email. Within 14 days of receiving your order, we will exchange any UNUSED resellable item for another item of equal value. If the new item is of greater  value, you will be charge the difference. If the new item is of lesser value, you will be refunded the difference of the two items.

If a return is due to an error by DicksAutoParts.com, we will arrage for a return shipping label. We will only issue 1 return label, and it will be the customer's reponsibility to ensure that the part is ready for pickup. If the part is not ready to be picked up, we will not issue a 2nd return label, and it is then the customers responsilblity to return it to us and arrange their own way of shipping and pay for it.

  • All returned items MUST have a RGA number written on the package, items returned without a RGA number will be refused at time of delivery.
  • All the items, parts, boxes, etc. and information on what's wrong needs to be sent with the return.
  • All items must be returned in the original packaging it came in.
  • If your part arrives damaged please let us know ASAP so we can start a claim, or get you another one shipped out the door.
  • If your part arrives defective please let us know ASAP so we can help you get one that is not defective.
  • All manufacturer warranties are responsibility of the manufacturer. If you have a warranty issue please let us know and we can help assist you in contacting the company and getting a replacement.
  • Gift Certificates cannot be refunded or canceled. Gift Certificates are not transferable.
  • NO Returns on Special Order or Custom Made Parts or Non Stockable parts
  • NO Returns on Electrical Parts or Electronic Tuners
  • NO Returns on Items that have been installed

All returns without an exchange are subject to a 20% restocking fee of the purchase price. All freight charges are non refundable. If you are unsure of purchasing an item please call us and have one of our friendly sales staff assist you.

Most orders ship within in 1-7 days. We do experience occasional delays due to product availability either from low stock in our warehouse or back orders from the manufacturer. We will contact you if the item is no longer available or if we can only exchange it for another brand.
